It Makes No Difference To Me

A gentleman riding a wagon saw a man walking by the side of the road, with a heavy bag back on his back.

The gentleman asked the man walking, "Would you like a ride?"

The man with the heavy burden replied, "Yes, and thank you, sir."

But the man who was picked up, remained carrying his heavy pack on his back, while he sat on the wagon.

The gentleman asked, "Why do you not take off your pack and set it down?

The man replied, "Why sir, it is so kind of you to give me a ride, I do not want to trouble you anymore and for that reason, I thought that I would carry the pack myself."

The gentleman replied, "Well, you see, it makes no difference to me whether you carry it, or not, for I am carrying you and your pack. You might as well unstrap it and set it down."

In the same way, did you know that Jesus carries you and your burdens; it makes no different to Him if you carry them or not, but it does impact your experience on your way to heaven.

The man who refused to put down his pack only made his journey less enjoyable than it could have been. This is the same with us, when we do not give all to Jesus, our Christian walk becomes harder than it should be.
