Don't Miss Your Exit

The other day, while driving to work in the city, I realised I was in the wrong lane, and I needed to change lanes. Thankfully a vehicle was kind enough to allow me to merge.
Then, I thought to myself, “What spiritual lesson could I draw from this?”
We are all travelling to a destination called heaven, but not all of us are in the right lane. Unfortunately, on this road called life, many who desire to reach heaven will not all make it, because they delayed merging into the right lane. Others will fail to reach heaven because they missed the exit, after they were given sign after sign.
On my recent Pick-Me-Up Zoom talk, I challenged my audience with the question, “Which lane are you in?” I then encouraged them, “Do not let your life be like that fool spoken in the book of Proverbs, who knows their problem but does nothing about it. Instead, I plead with you to merge into the right lane by hanging out with people who are like minded. Merger into the right lane by placing yourself in environments that will make you desire heaven, lest you miss your exit”
Now, I turn to you reader, what lane are you in? And what will you do about it?
