He Foresees

“…the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.” Revelation 13:8

Jesus is the lamb slain from the foundation of the world; this implies He foresaw the ruin that would be in us and, offered himself. Scripture teaches without the blood of Jesus there is no forgiveness (Hebrews 9:22)

The blood of Jesus is not like any other blood. Rather, it has power to cleanse us from any evil tendencies; and purify us from all imperfections that rob our peace.

You do not have a good enough argument to convince God to forgive you, simply because you promised Him that you would not do the same sin you keep doing. Romans 8:34 asks, “Who is he who condemns us?” It is the devil. Yet the verse concludes that Jesus is before the Father, pleading on your behalf.

The blood does all the talking for you.

 You have never been worthying, nor are you now, but Jesus does not give up on you, because he foresees what the blood can do for you.

I challenge you to be like Christian in Pilgrim’s Progress, who, although he did not immediately see the change he longed for, pressed on until he reached the place of deliverance, where his burden fell away. It is possible that you are standing on the same hill, and ahead of you is Jesus crucified, whom you have not yet seen for yourself but have only heard about.

It was after Christian met Jesus personally that he had his own story to tell.
