That's All I Ever Wanted

Flora was a ten-year-old girl who unfortunately lost both of her parents in a car accident. Never was her life the same, from this tragic event she suffered from depression, anxieties, and seizures. At school, Flora was often bullied, and made to feel unwanted. Twice Flora had attempted to commit suicide, but something held her back. As the years passed, Flora struggled to sleep, frequently she felt a strange pain in her head that would not go away. The doctors did several of test on her, and sadly discovered, she had a tumour, and was told she had no more than five years to live. Flora spent many nights and days in the hospital white walls, feeling empty and lonely.

One day, a strange man walked into Flora's room, he gently smiled, and gave her two lollies and said, “Flora be of good cheer, Jesus loves you, and understand what you are going through,”

Flora burst into tears, while sobbing she said, “all I ever wanted was for someone to understand me.”

Flora then asked the strange man, “how I can be saved?”

The strange man replied, “give your heart to Jesus”

Flora replied, “but I only have a broken heart,”

The strange man replied, “that’s all I ever wanted,”

As soon Flora blinked, the Strange Man disappeared.
